IND VS ENG: Indian bowlers break on British boom, England for 259 runs
The aggressive strategy that the England team has adopted to play continued in the third ODI against India. That is why the British innings managed to score a challenging score. On the other hand, Indian bowling will also be credited that they never gave much freezing to the British and took wickets at continuous intervals, due to which England could not cross 300. Due to this excellent performance, India has given aggressive England for 259 runs in 45.5 overs.
India decided to bowl first after winning the toss and stirred up the opposition camp by dismissing Johnny Bairstow and Joe Root without opening an account. Both these wickets were taken by Mohammad Siraj, playing at the place of Jaspreet Bumrah.
After this Hardik Pandya proved to be the real bowler. His bowling has made a difference between the two teams. Hardik walked Jason Roy and Ben Stokes in the first spell. Roy had played a fast 41 runs off 31 balls and Stokes was also aggressive by scoring 27 runs off 29 balls.
However, even after these consecutive tremors, England continued to play as aggressive as possible as Moin Ali and Liam Livingstone were sharp. Hardik played 27 runs off 31 balls in the second spell and then went out to Jose Butler with a solid innings of 60 runs off 80 balls.
Even after the dismissal of Moin Ali (34), the British did not diminish the aggressive stance as David Willy added 18 runs and then Craig overton was also dismissed with 32 runs off 33 balls. Both players were dismissed in an attempt to blow Chahal. Chahal hunted his third hunting in the match on the Rice Topley. Hardik Pandya took 4 wickets for only 24 runs in 7 overs.
